I enjoy planning tailor-made trips that combine culture, heritage, nature and authentic local experiences. I especially love creating journeys across India, from Rajasthan’s forts and palaces to Kerala’s backwaters, Himalayan landscapes, wildlife safaris and spiritual destinations. I enjoy understanding each traveller’s interests and designing a smooth, well-balanced itinerary with the right hotels, experiences, transportation and local touches.

I’m best suited for travellers looking for personalised, well-organised journeys rather than standard package tours. I work especially well with couples, families, small groups and first-time visitors to India who value authentic experiences, comfortable stays and smooth arrangements. I may be less suited to travellers looking only for the cheapest option or a fixed, highly structured package with no flexibility.

My ideal 7–10 day route is Delhi → Agra → Jaipur → Jodhpur → Udaipur. It offers a wonderful mix of India’s history, architecture, culture, local experiences and scenic beauty. Travellers can explore the Taj Mahal, magnificent forts and palaces, colourful markets and traditional cuisine, while enjoying a comfortable pace with scenic drives between destinations. It is an excellent introduction to India’s rich heritage and diversity.

Travellers most often adjust the hotel category, number of nights, and overall budget in my first proposal. They may also add or remove destinations, experiences, or leisure days depending on their interests. I usually keep the core itinerary flexible so we can easily fine-tune the journey based on their priorities, travel style and budget while maintaining a comfortable and practical route.

Which regions do you love combining and which do you avoid?

Accepted Answer

I love combining regions that offer a good mix of culture, heritage, nature and local experiences. In India, I particularly enjoy combining Rajasthan with Delhi and Agra, Kerala with Tamil Nadu, and the Golden Triangle with Goa or Kashmir. I generally avoid combining destinations that involve excessive travel time or backtracking, as I prefer creating balanced itineraries that are comfortable, practical and enjoyable for travellers.

A common mistake is trying to cover too many destinations in a short trip, which can make the journey tiring and rushed. I prevent this by creating realistic routes with the right number of nights, allowing enough time for sightseeing and relaxation. I also explain travel times, suggest the best transport options and balance must-see attractions with authentic local experiences.

I recommend slowing down after a few busy sightseeing days or following a long journey. A relaxed day could include a leisurely breakfast, a spa or wellness experience, a local market visit, a cooking class, or simply time to enjoy the hotel and surroundings. I believe leaving some unplanned time helps travellers recharge and experience India at a more comfortable pace.
