Our tailor-made trips are all planned by local experts – who work for tour operators on the ground – so that all the pesky planning details are taken care of for you. Their know-how, and 24/7 support, makes travel truly stress-free. But don’t just take our word for it: these reviews are all written by real travellers who have booked a tailor-made trip with Insight Guides. Every traveller is asked to leave a review after their trip, but you can leave one before you go, too.

01/10/2026“The friendly Emilie who fully engaged with our requests re hotels, travel and activities was always there with ideas and suggestions. All the arrangements worked smoothly - we even found each other on Milan Station! We enjoyed being free agents with all the itinerary covered through the vouchers. I would highly recommend Insight Guides to do the leg work and Emilie in particular.”

“They listened to want we wanted to do and see on the trip and put a great itinerary together. They also try to understand budget up front.”

“We had a great time on our trip to Malta and Sicily. The boat ride to the Blue Lagoon and Gozo and the tour of the ruins of the Valley of the Temple were highlights.”

“This was our second trip planned by Martina, Senior Italian travel agent. She is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! She planned a trip of a lifetime for our 30th anniversary celebration. It was fun, historical, relaxing and all around perfect. We had the most personable drivers and guides. She planned very unique private excursions for us, from archeological excavations to bread tasting, olive oil production, winery tours and tastings, mozzarella and burrata making and tasting, historical tours, and the most amazing cooking class in which our instructor hosted us in her private home. Martina also reserved unbelievable lodging (5 star!) for the many cities we visited. We will definitely call her to plan our next Italian getaway!”

“Vaseem helped making our Trip in May 2026 to Paris, Rouen, and Rome. I had picked the hotels and places to visit and he put it all together. I was really nervous but in the end Vaseem really put it together for us. I do recommend checking in regularly and making sure your tours are booked and definitely get first in line. The hotel rooms were great and centered in great areas close to our tours. Transportation was awesome! I’m a nervous Nellie but everything came together and I would definitely use Vaseem again. Anytime I wanted to zoom, he was available. I’m hoping next year I can bring the whole family!! Thank you Insight Guides!”

“My family had an amazing trip to Italy, planned by Insight Guides. We saw so many things but also didn't pack the itinerary too full, so every tour or experience was really amazing!”
